As a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Monitor in Chemung, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the healthcare location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries related to access control and building navigation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns.
• Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed during emergency response activities.
• Maintain a professional presence and uphold Allied Universal standards while performing all security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
