Cyber Help Desk Analyst
to join our innovative team in
Washington, DC.**
Help Desk hours of coverage are from 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday. We are looking for a candidate willing to provide coverage from mid-day to 7pm.

Responsibilities But Not Limited To

  • Excellent communication skills. The candidate will be required to communicate with geographically dispersed users and vendors.
  • Maintain/troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations that host Sentris and SIMs applications.
  • Performing Windows System Administrative support to include adding and removing users, monitoring backups, installing software, monitoring metrics, and assisting users daily.
  • Learning fundamental operations of commonly used software and hardware equipment.
  • Writing and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with customers through the ticketing process, seeing issues through to resolution.
  • Identify repeat incidents and escalate to the proper channels (PM, vendor, IT, etc)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 7 years in Computer Science or related field
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (Security+ CE)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications for support, reporting and documentation.
  • Sentris experience, or complete Sentris training
  • Good problem-solving skills: ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Sentris
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
  • Working knowledge of security processes
  • Working understanding of ITIL

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a active/current Top Secret clearance at time of hire and be SCI eligible.
  • SCI nomination will be submitted upon start.
  • Successful completion of all required background investigations, to include drug testing and (if applicable) Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75%
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
  • The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
