What You'll Do:
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wireless Sales Manager (245) to lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of wireless products and services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage store operations, develop staff, and contribute to the growth of our wireless retail division through effective sales strategies and team management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets, focusing on wireless products and services.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and POS transactions to ensure smooth functioning.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training & development to enhance team performance.
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote wireless products, accessories, and promotional offers.
- Monitor inventory levels, control stock replenishment, and manage purchasing activities to optimize product availability.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high store standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to foster a positive work environment.
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately and oversee cashiering activities during shifts.
- Maintain organizational skills for efficient store management including pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and stock organization.
Skills
- Proven leadership with supervising experience in retail or wireless sales environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and engage customers professionally.
- Proficiency in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, supervising teams, retail sales techniques, shift management, retail math, sales management strategies, pricing tactics, store management practices, training & development programs, budgeting skills, leadership qualities, cash handling procedures, organizational skills, marketing acumen, time management abilities, administrative experience, math proficiency for retail calculations, phone etiquette expertise.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with merchandising practices such as stocking and promotional displays. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills who is passionate about wireless technology and customer satisfaction.
