Cook (Part-time)

Overview:
Join our dynamic kitchen team The Bella Vista Inn is seeking a skilled part-time cook. Experience in a fast-paced environment and a passion for culinary excellence are an asset. This position has the potential to turn into full-time for the right candidate.

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with meal preparation and plating

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
