Duties and responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
- Greeting patients
- Arriving and booking patients
- Filling Faxes & Scans
- Completing All Tasks
- Answering Phone Calls
- Following your doctors' orders
- Managing your doctors' schedule
- Booking follow-up appointments for the doctors
- Taking Vision Acuity, Height and Weight
- Making sure the clinic is Clean and Tidy
- Organizing and replenishing the supply cabinet of your doctors
- Booking All referrals
- Home Clinic Enrollment/Management
- Prepping Procedure Trays and Instruments needed for procedure (including autoclaving - will be taught)
- Participate in other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Medical Office Administration
- Strong organizational, time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Good knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation
- Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) Certification
- Proficiency in experience with computer and computer applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook email
- LibreMD EMR experience is an asset
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
