Yutori is an new and upcoming Japanese restaurant for high-quality cuisine, warm hospitality, and a curated beverage program featuring sake, Japanese whisky, cocktails, and premium spirits. We are seeking a skilled Bartenders who are passionate about hospitality and interested in Japanese drinks and culture.

Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable bar experience. Knowledge of Japanese spirits and cocktails is a plus, but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Recommend drinks and explain sake, whisky, shochu, and seasonal specialty cocktails
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Provide friendly and efficient guest service, including bar guests and server drink orders
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Assist with creating or executing seasonal cocktail features (optional)
• Restock supplies, clean glassware, and complete end-of-shift duties

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required (Japanese bar or izakaya experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques
• Interest in learning about Japanese whisky, sake, and shochu
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol
