Precision CNC Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce precision components in a highly regulated environment. In this role, you will set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment and ensure parts meet stringent quality standards. Your expertise in machining and inspection will contribute directly to maintaining our high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, including multi-spindle and multi-axis machines, to produce precision components.
• Conduct thorough inspections using precision measuring equipment, such as microscopes, micrometers, and CMMs, to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to optimize machining processes and maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality and inspection results, ensuring full traceability of materials and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance machining processes and product quality.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, PPE guidelines, and quality system procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in CNC setup, troubleshooting, and inspection.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and procedures.
• Experience with hand tools and basic machine maintenance.

• Knowledge of GMP/ISO standards, including ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with ERP and QMS systems for documentation and traceability.
• Machine Trades Technical School certification or equivalent experience.
