Construction Laborer/Installer

Location: Fort Collins, CO
Schedule: Full-time, typically 50 hours/week (Overtime available)
Pay Range: $16–$20/hour DOE

Are you looking to get your foot in the door of a skilled trade? West Elk Construction is hiring a full-time Helper/Laborer to assist with shop work and learn the ropes of welding and fabrication. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is motivated, reliable, and interested in growing into a long-term skilled position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist fabricators with measuring, cutting, prepping, and handling steel
• Clean and organize the shop and tools
• Operate basic shop equipment under supervision
• Load/unload materials and assist with job site delivery or installs
• Learn to tack weld and fabricate over time
• Follow safety procedures and take pride in clean, accurate work

Requirements:

• Good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Must be dependable and show up on time every day
• Comfortable working around grinders, saws, and welders
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet all day
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required
• Welding experience a plus, but not required
