Inventory Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Clerk to join our supply chain and warehouse management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing stock control processes, and supporting procurement and logistics operations. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced data analytics tools and ERP systems to enhance inventory accuracy and streamline supply chain activities.

Duties

• Monitor and manage inventory levels answering phone calls
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, root causes of stock issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to support sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities.
• Assist in demand planning, forecasting, and materials management to optimize stock levels across multiple categories.
• Utilize data visualization tools like Quick Books and Light Speed.
• Support shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling processes.
• Engage in category management, pricing analysis, and contract review to maximize cost-efficiency.
• Implement process improvements based on supply chain analytics to enhance inventory control procedures.
• Handle light weight lifting when necessary and ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling.

Skills

• Quick Books preferred knowledge , Light Speed proficient in
• Experience in clothing merchandise checking in and ordering
• Experience with inventory management, inventory control .
• Ability to keep track of inventory .
• Accounting skills
• Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contracts management, and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of financial analysis related to pricing models, financial modeling, and supply chain analytics.
• Skills in negotiation, merchandising, retail management, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, production planning..
• Physical ability for moving and lifting boxes when required. This position provides a vital role in maintaining efficient inventory operations that support overall business success through advanced analytical techniques and strategic supply chain management practices.

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
