Position Details

• Job: Line Cook (rotating stations: breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
• Location: Burien, WA
• Hours: Part-time to start, with the potential to grow into full-time for the right person
• Schedule: Must be available for a mix of shifts (weekends are a big plus)

Pay + Additional Earnings

• Hourly wage: $21-26 per hour (DOE)
• Additional earnings: Potential $4.75-$6.75 per hour through a tip out program
• Raises: Performance-based increases as skills and responsibilities grow

What You ll Be Doing

• Cooking and plating classic American diner food across breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Working a station with speed, accuracy, and consistency during rushes
• Following recipes, specs, and checklists (and improving them with the team)
• Keeping your area clean, stocked, organized, and inspection-ready
• Communicating clearly with FOH and BOH to keep service smooth
• Supporting prep and jumping in to help wherever the line needs it

• Able to follow written and verbal instruction and keep learning
• Reliable, steady, and ready to bring a good attitude to the line

Requirements

• Washington State Food Worker Card (required; can be obtained quickly if you don t already have it)

• Experience: 3+ years cooking traditional American diner food (breakfast experience strongly preferred)

• Non-slip, closed-toe black shoes

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen essentials (pots, pans, product)
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
