About The Team And The Role
With innovative and exciting operational initiatives, the Authentication Operations team is a fast-paced and passion-filled team to be a part of This team has optimally launched watches, handbags, sneakers, trading cards, and apparel authentication in the US, CA, AU, UK, DE and JP in under four years. We are a group of outstanding and diverse teammates who together make a complete business unit and are seeking an Operations Trainer for our global operations
The Operations Trainer strengthens eBay's global Trainer Ambassador Program by developing, guiding, and aligning Training Ambassadors across all AG centers. This position does not primarily facilitate training but enables Ambassadors to deliver uniform, accurate, and high-quality sessions aligned with global SOPs. Reporting to the Operations Training Lead, the Trainer ensures Ambassadors are confident, prepared, and have the appropriate tools and strategies for effective training. The role also promotes global training harmony through close collaboration with the Operations Training Lead, Instructional Designers, and onsite Ambassador teams, ensuring training materials are comprehended, applied precisely, and improved over time.
Key Responsibilities
Training Quality, Calibration & Content Validation
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of Ambassador-delivered training across sites, ensuring alignment with global SOPs and operational expectations.
- Capture feedback and insights from Ambassadors and frontline teams to identify training gaps or material improvement needs.
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent training interpretation and delivery across global AG centers.
- Raise discrepancies between SOPs and onsite workflows to the Operations Training Lead.
Training Delivery
- Deliver hands-on or virtual training only for blocking issues, major launches, or ambassador support needs, ensuring continuous quality coverage.
- Step in to facilitate training during high-volume onboarding periods or when Ambassador capacity is limited.
- Demonstrate training guidelines to model the standard encouraged of Ambassadors.
Training Feedback & Material Validation
- Offer clear, actionable feedback to the Operations Training Lead and Instructional Designers regarding SOP updates, workflow deficiencies, or training content that needs adjustment.
- Raise any discrepancies between SOPs and real-world workflows.
Records Management & Compliance
- Support Ambassadors in understanding and fulfilling training documentation requirements within Workday LMS and training trackers.
- Verify that training completions and certifications are recorded accurately and meet compliance and audit standards.
- Maintain clear communication with local site leadership on training progress, issues, or risks.
Operational Readiness & Alignment
- Stay informed on updated SOPs, new processes, and equipment changes to ensure all training aligns with real-time operational standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Requires up to 20% travel annually (domestic and international).
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years of experience in operations training, production-floor mentoring, or warehouse leadership.
- 3+ years in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operation.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to teach hands-on processes clearly and confidently.
- Ability to give constructive feedback, reinforce standards, and build employee confidence.
- Strong organization and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate LMS and tracking data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and familiarity with Workday Learning Management Systems (LMS).

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$58,700 - $84,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
