Role Summary

Rapidly-growing alcoholic beverage brand seeks an Operations & Supply Chain Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our manufacturing and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly, inventory is available when needed, orders ship on time, and operational issues are resolved before they escalate.

This is a hands-on execution role reporting directly to the founders and executive team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable coordinating across distributor customers, supply chain vendors and freight partners.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Production

  • Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with in-house production teams
  • Ensure required raw materials, packaging, and other inputs are available ahead of production runs
  • Track production output, yields, and variances
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or delays

Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Monitor inventory levels for all ingredients, packaging, and finished goods
  • Maintain reorder points and lead times to prevent stock-outs or excess inventory
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers (domestic and international), organizing and tracking inbound shipments
  • Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and availability
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across systems and spreadsheets

Order Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, distributors, or warehouses
  • Work with freight carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational vendors and partners
  • Communicate production status and inventory levels to leadership
  • Support new SKU launches with operational planning and setup
  • Assist in documenting and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with equivalent hands-on experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing (5+ years). CPG, food and beverage preferred
  • Experience with international supply chain (customs brokers etc) a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets and email-driven workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

  • Beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
  • Inventory planning and demand forecasting
  • ERP or inventory management systems
  • Small or high-growth company environments

What Success Looks Like

  • Production runs on schedule with minimal executive involvement
  • Inventory levels are accurate and appropriately stocked, stock-outs are rare
  • Orders ship on time with few errors or escalations
  • Operational issues are resolved quickly and independently
  • Leadership has clear visibility into operations without managing details

Pay: $80, $105,000.00 per year
