• English Valley Nursing Care Center (EVNCC), has a great opportunity to welcome a new LPN/RN to our established team. We are a licensed 44-bed dually certified building with an attached Assisted Living
• We are a resident centered facility that endeavors to provide quality care and an an exceptional living environment to our stakeholders. We are nestled in a beautiful rural community in South East Iowa proximal to Iowa City and several prominent schools and hospitals.

EVNCC is seeking a part time or full-time LPN

The duties for this position include:

• Follow established standards of nursing practice and implements facility policies and procedures.
• Complete medication administration
• Complete detailed nursing assessments and documentation
• Interprets existing policies and procedures to CNA's, residents, families, and physicians.
• Supervises and evaluates all direct resident care and initiates, corrective action as necessary
• Obtains report from nurse he/she is relieving and records sufficient information for follow-up action if necessary
• Conducts residents rounds daily, reporting problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiating corrective action
• Identifies resident problems and emergency situations and responds appropriately within the quality of life policies.
• Provides clinical supervision of CNA's
