We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food service across various dining settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in managing cafe and catering food operations. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, POS management, financial performance, staff supervision, and client relations, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Senior Chef Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong client partnerships and upholding our reputation for fine dining excellence and innovative catering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise culinary staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Oversee menu development, planning, and execution for various dining formats including cafe dining and catering events
  • Manage inventory control, procurement, food production, and food cost controls to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen by managing budgets, forecasting, labor costs, and food cost performance
  • Oversee and manage POS systems, including menu setup, pricing accuracy, reporting, and staff training
  • Build and maintain positive client relations through regular communication, responsiveness, and high service standards
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Coordinate shift schedules, monitor kitchen performance, and implement training programs to enhance team skills
  • Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, presentation quality, and adherence to dietary requirements
  • Collaborate with management and clients on event planning, special menus, and customer service expectations
  • Supervise catering operations from setup through service delivery while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and enforce safety protocols to prevent hazards or operational disruptions

Skills

  • Extensive culinary experience with a focus on cafe dining, catering, or restaurant management
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong team leadership and staff development capabilities
  • Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and food cost control
  • Experience with POS management, reporting, menu setup, and transaction accuracy
  • Strong client relations skills with the ability to build partnerships and deliver high service standards
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and departmental procedures
  • Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
  • Skilled in food service management including shift management and hospitality operations
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Competence in culinary techniques including cooking, food preparation, and food management systems
  • Familiarity with catering logistics, restaurant operations, and the broader food industry landscape

Pay: $68, $85,000.00 per year
