Route Sales Driver

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving.
• Deliver products efficiently and accurately to a variety of customer locations, ensuring timely service.
• Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Assist with merchandising by organizing products on shelves or displays at customer sites to maximize sales opportunities.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, helping to grow sales and meet company goals.
• Manage inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies promptly.
• Perform lifting when loading or unloading products, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed for safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial driving or route sales is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong math skills for pricing, inventory management, and basic record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks.
• Organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage time well throughout the day.
• A background in the military or similar disciplined environment is a plus, demonstrating reliability and strong work ethic.
