Über
Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment./liliGrow revenue with existing customers and leverage those relationships to identify other customer leads and opportunities./liliKeep up-to-date on product changes, selling strategies, competitive methods, expense control, etc./liliEstablish annual sales projections by product and recommend sales programs to reach sales projections./liliContinually develop and enhance product expertise./liliQuickly and efficiently resolve customer complaints and problems./liliActively manage and monitor business opportunities in the assigned account base to maximize revenue./liliDeliver quotes quickly and always within the customers time requirements./liliDevelop and maintain long-term, successful and loyal customer relationships./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliWork with Texas Materials teammates, including estimators and area managers, to bid and acquire work./liliRepresent the company with local agencies and associations involved in regulating, specifying, or purchasing construction materials./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliWillingness and desire to learn./liliCompetitive spirit and self-motivated./liliProfessional demeanor both on the phone and in person and self-awareness around others./liliMinimum 3 years previous sales experience in readymix, asphalt, stone, sand and gravel, or applicable industry./liliBachelors Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience/liliExperience managing a territory in a sales representative or similar related function./liliPrevious customer service experience./liliLocal market knowledge with established relationships preferred./liliAbility to work independently as well as part of a team./liliMicrosoft Office proficiency
