Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing various applications across multiple platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with developers to identify and resolve issues. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of reliable software solutions for diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing on Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
- Utilize testing tools such as TestNG, Selenium, JUnit, and Visual Studio to automate test scripts.
- Perform API testing using RESTful services and tools like Postman or similar platforms.
- Validate application functionality across browsers and devices, including mobile applications.
- Analyze test results, document defects clearly using Jira or TFS, and track issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and defect reports for quality audits.
- Participate in continuous integration processes utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or SVN.
- Assist in performance testing and security assessments as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry best practices.
Skills
- Experience with Cypress is mandotary
- Strong experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and Visual Studio.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, PHP, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL variants like MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git (GitHub, GitLab), SVN, TFS, Azure DevOps for continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
- Experience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, , MVC frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud services like AWS or Azure for deployment testing.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and REST API testing.
- Data analysis skills to interpret test results effectively.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle Database, SQL Server.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong analysis skills to identify issues early in the development lifecycle. Pay: $ $52.00 per hour
