Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to ensure a clean dining environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Support guest relations by responding to special requests and ensuring overall satisfaction in a fine dining or nightclub setting

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services and hospitality
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts with multitasking skills in serving, bussing, and cashiering
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred for delivering upscale service experiences
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills confidently
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items through friendly persuasion and product knowledge
• Previous host/host or serving experience that emphasizes guest relations and customer satisfaction
