Job Description:
Knollwood Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team. The Speech Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia therapy
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, therapy, and medical staff
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Alabama SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
