Summary/Objective

The Material Handler will work with the Grease & RTV Packaging Dept. The position will safely operate a fork lift to move/stage raw materials, into work areas to process goods and

finished products to designated areas also will stage and maintain 2nd floors where all raws are kept.. Will assist with housekeeping and dumping of trash for all work stations.

  • Must be able to read and understand work order instructions and schedules.
  • Complete work order(s) information, label requirements and productions log sheet(s).
  • Must be physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times due to running of machines. Employee is required to wear proper PPE equipment (safety glasses, mask, ear plugs, steel/composite toe boots)

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb, stand, lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Posting is Monday - Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. However, hours vary according to shift and manufacturing operations.

(Subject to change based on business demands)

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • The ability to read and write in English (Required)

  • High School diploma or GED (Required)

  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Concepts (Desired)
