Yeanie's Burger & Social is an energetic and fast-growing burger concept in the Boston area, known for high-quality comfort food, great service, and a fun, community-focused atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, elevate the guest experience, and uphold the brand's culture and standards.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service. This role requires strong leadership, operational knowledge, and the ability to motivate and support a high-performing team. Responsibilities include daily operations, financial performance, policy implementation, and maintaining a positive guest experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including inventory control, vendor coordination, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure proper scheduling and completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead with professionalism, punctuality, and proactive communication. Hold staff accountable to the same standards.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage budgets, analyze expenses, and implement cost-control strategies.
  • Monitor labor and food costs, identifying opportunities for improvement while maintaining quality.

Team Management

  • Train, mentor, and lead team members to foster a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Ensure all staff are well-trained in operations and capable of upholding brand standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high standards in food quality, speed, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay hands-on during peak hours to support the team and identify operational improvements.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Uphold strong customer service standards and address escalated guest concerns.
  • Strive to consistently exceed guest expectations.

Catering & Events Support

  • Assist with the growth of catering and large-order operations by managing communication and coordinating logistics.

Policy & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
  • Develop systems to quickly respond to staffing issues, supply shortages, or operational disruptions.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, catering growth, and brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in restaurant management or operations (fast food, fast casual, or QSR preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational skills, and financial management.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and peak hours as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and quick decision-making.
  • Growth-Oriented: Passion for contributing to the long-term success of the brand.
