Healthcare Controller

Healthcare Controller - CPA Required - Up to $170k + bonus

Our client, a complex healthcare organization, is looking to hire a Controller to lead all finance and accounting functions. This newly created role reports to the VP of Finance and oversees 11 employees. The Controller will manage day-to-day financial operations, drive process improvements, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting. ***Onsite for training, then 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly financial reporting, audits, and balance sheet integrity.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial decisions.
• Analyze financial results and recommend improvements to processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  CPA required

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a
  complex healthcare setting

• Proven supervisory experience; ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems
