Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to setup and operate CNC machines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency. We have 2 open roles and available shifts are:
- 1st Shift
- 2nd Shift
Starting pay is$28.00/hour , based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machining equipment, including lathes, and 3-axis mills, and grinders, to produce sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and fulfill machining requirements in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining equipment as they arise.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machinist able to operate with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in the set-up and operation of machining equipment, including CNC machines.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
Other:
Requires physical ability to perform normal machinist work among which are standing, kneeling, crouching, repetitive motions and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires 2-4 years of machining experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment and/or through previous training programs and/or documented course; experience may substitute for education.
