CDL A Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to van trailers, flatbeds, and roll off dumpsters/dump trailers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the freight. This is a local driving position. Home daily.

Duties

• Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds.
• Execute route driving to deliver goods to various locations while following designated schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading processes.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) CLASS A with a clean driving record.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is required. (we only have manual trucks)
• Familiarity with van trailers, flatbed trucks, and other specialized equipment is a plus.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route planning.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• MUST BE HIGHLY DEPENDABLE, AND HAVE VERY GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
