Part Time Janitor/Cleaning Technician

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an experienced Janitor. The Janitor will be responsible for providing janitorial services, including operating cleaning equipment, cleaning floors, sanitizing restrooms, removing trash, and replenishing supplies in the designated area. The Janitor should also provide exceptional customer service to clients and perform additional cleaning tasks that may be requested by their supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial services, housekeeping, or related field
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, as well as document work performed
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers
• Training or certification in cleaning industry standards a plus
• Experience in sales or upselling services a plus
• English Proficiency & Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for an extended period of time
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid Drivers license and ability to travel to job sites
• Good communication with clients and employees

Using Low Speed and high speed machine, Auto scrubber, Carpet Extraction/ upholstery, Using right chemicals, Strip and wax (VCT), Floor auto scrubbing, Buffing, Burnishing, polishing, Carpet Cleaning, Bonnet, Extraction Power washing, Window Cleaning and more

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts one-on-one training as needed
• Sick calls coverage
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required
• Supply delivery
• Pass on daily report at the end of the shift
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Opportunities for growth to managerial position in future

This Position is for 12-14 hours a week, 3 days a week (Tu,Thu, Sunday) Starting with potential 5 days per week in a few months.
