Job Description

  • Manage multiple business analysis needs for the Medical System such as developing business needs assessments, facilitating request for proposals, work plans, preparing data visualizations, in collaboration with leaders and/or subject matter experts.
  • Deploys and organizes resources, develops timetables and targets and checks progress. Creates a clear, logical and realistic plan of activities.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments to understand stakeholder needs and assist in the collaborative design of repeatable processes within Shared Services aimed at enhancing process transparency, inclusivity, and/or speed. Support the design of these processes using tools like checklists, job aids, and dashboards.
  • Develop/implement and continuously improve business analysis processes and supporting tools (e.g., forms, templates, etc.) in conjunction with Supply Chain and other shared service partners.
  • Monitor programs/portfolios and create process methodologies, processes, tools and techniques.
  • Develop and mentor Shared Service Staff and leaders, providing coaching on BA related processes and activities.
  • Structure and develop project materials to meet client expectations, deliver value and minimize potential obstacles and risks while adhering to industry best practices of project management. Understand and manage stakeholder needs and build commitment to solutions that deliver target business value.
  • Assist the project/business sponsor in coordinating and developing work plans, including documenting progress and decision-making. Provide objective and factual information, such as identifying alignment with strategic and operational goals, and defining high-level business and technical requirements and scope.
  • Work with the Supply Chain leaders to continuously improve processes and tools.
  • Build effective networks of internal and external subject matter expert contacts including directors and other leaders.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and track the execution and progress of assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 7 + years of experience in project management and business analysis, including 5 years developing and analyzing complex business requirements.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of healthcare business practices, Business Analysis, Quality, and Project Management industry standards, best practices and frameworks.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization.
  • Proficient in creatively translating analysis findings into actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, tools, systems and best practices.
  • Effective skill in requirement gathering and writing business requirements documents.
  • Effective critical thinking, strategic thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skill communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization.
  • Advanced skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes.
  • Effective skill using innovative thinking to solve problems and facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Advanced analytical skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results, or relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit high self-motivation and ability to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Support client relationship management and tracks assignment execution and progress reporting.
  • Ability to analyze, compare, contrast, and validate work with keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
