Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Farmington, MI. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a range of tasks, including assisting healthcare providers during patient visits, managing medical records, ensuring compliance with medical office protocols, and performing clinical tasks as needed. Duties also include preparing exam rooms, taking patient histories, maintaining medical supplies, and providing compassionate support for patients throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including assisting physicians and clinicians with patient care tasks.
  • Strong understanding and application of Medical Terminology relevant to procedures, diagnoses, and documentation.
  • Experience in a Medical Office setting, including workflow management and administrative tasks.
  • Expertise in handling Medical Records and maintaining accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic Patient Care.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials preferred.
  • CPR certification and a high school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program is strongly preferred.
