Construction Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and renovation of buildings and structures.
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles as needed.
• Help with the setup and teardown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
