Job Overview

We are seeking a Support & Solutions Specialist to serve as a trusted technical resource for our clients. In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot various hardware and software systems, while also identifying opportunities to provide additional solutions to customers. Sales experience is highly recommended; we offer commission for bringing in new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Maintenance
  • Install, configure, maintain, and repair computers, printers, scanners, and other hardware.
  • Configure and manage small business networks, backup solutions, and security applications.
  • Provide both onsite and remote IT support, including system updates, security and backup monitoring.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Work onsite Monday–Friday at client facilities in Hanover and York, with occasional visits to other client locations.
  • Be available for onsite emergency after-hours calls and remote support when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of personalities in diverse environments (offices, retail stores, homes, warehouses, factory settings).
  • Sales & Solutions
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell ezTechDirect's services and products.
  • Leverage sales experience (if applicable) to secure new business and earn commission.

Education/Experience

  • Required: Minimum 1 year of IT support experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Office 365 setup/configuration.
  • Required: Network and security experience (certifications in these areas are a plus).
  • Preferred: Experience with Cisco and cybersecurity.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a background check and comply with a drug-free workplace policy.
  • Self-motivated, able to manage tasks independently.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Starting from $60,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
  • Commission: Potential for additional earnings based on sales and bonuses

Schedule

  • Full-time, 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
