Licensed Electrical Journeymen

We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeymen in the Greater Los Angeles area, installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· The job will require the service and installation of electrical materials and equipment Panels, switchgear, feeders, ATS, Motor Control, UPS, and devices.

· Completions per the manufacturer's recommendations, plans and specifications and per verified/approved engineered approved drawings. Structural seismic mounting, installation and termination of electrical panels, termination of wiring at equipment, devices, and panels/gear.

· Understand RFI's, COR's, and Scope-of-Work. Installations may include occasional installation of Nurse-Call, Fire Alarm systems, Security systems and Line Voltage Power Wiring to equipment. Must be able to keep detailed installation records, project notes, and maintain clear and accurate as-built documents updated daily. Clearly label all wiring.

· Knowledge of current NEC and OSHPD regulations. Able to read and understand the plans, specs, and construction schedules. Be able to order materials per specification in advance for onsite delivery. Be able to complete a clear and informative daily progress report deliverable to the Project manager and as needed, to the customer/GC.

· Daily check-in with field leads and project managers. Follow all OSHA/State and local safety requirements in addition to the company and hospital ICRA mandatory safety, requirements of COVID-19 safety, full PPE, gloves, arch flash PPE, LOTO processes. Ensure timecards are completed daily.

· Must be willing to have annual flu shots, T.B. tests and if required by the hospitals, a COVID-19 vaccination.

Skills & Requirements:

· Must have a minimum of 6 years' experience and have a current journeyman card.

· Experience with conduit pipe bending, underground work, layout, etc.

· Knowledge of current NEC and OSHPD regulations.

· Able to troubleshoot a variety of issues and execute solutions quickly and accurately.

· Able to perform all phases of commercial and industrial electrical construction and service work, preferably in a healthcare environment.

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls equipment and fixtures.

· Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

· Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts or overtime if needed.

· Own personal tools – We will supply PPE and large company equipment and expendables.

Condition of Employment:

· Have a valid CA Driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Submit to post-offer pre-employment TB Skin test and Seasonal Flu shot (and some Healthcare facilities may require a COVID vaccination).

Salary Range: $30 to 40/hour based on experience.
