Exodus Recovery is looking to hire a Social Services Coordinator II for our soon-to-open Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) located in Oceanside, CA.
Program Summary:
Exodus Recovery, Inc is looking for staff for our soon-to-open Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) located in Oceanside, CA. This will be the first PHF in San Diego County. The PHF is a 24-hour LPS designated facility that provides short-term inpatient care for adults 18 years and older who are experiencing acute psychiatric or dual diagnosis needs. The treatment philosophy at Exodus PHF is based on the premise that all individuals have the potential to rehabilitate and to make choices about their environments for living, learning, working and socializing. During an average length of stay of 5-7 days, the interdisciplinary treatment team will develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient to address their specific needs, often focusing on symptom reduction and stabilization. Teams also prepare for discharge to appropriate community resources that can best meet the unique needs of the patient and improvement in overall wellness.
Job Summary:
Exodus Recovery, Inc. (Exodus) shall employ individuals to provide therapeutic interventions, psychosocial assessments, initiate contacts with a variety of community resources; and implement linkages and discharge planning for clients in the Exodus Recovery Urgent Care Centers. The Social Service Coordinator shall meet the qualifications as indicated in the Short-Doyle Medi-Cal Rehab Option Manual and provide services in accordance with the scope of their practice.
Requirements:
- Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences required (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, RN, Ph.D. or PsyD.)
- Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in the mental health field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of therapeutic interventions, assessment, community resources and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work independently and show mature judgment. Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Current CPR Certification and current CPI Certification preferred
EDUCATION:
- Master's degree required in a mental health related field: RN, PhD, PsyD, MSW, MFT
