Job Description:

As a Shipping Associate at AFI, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fragrances reach our valued customers around the world in a timely and efficient manner. You'll be an important part of our team, making sure our fragrances continue to reach our customers in exceptional conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Order Processing: Accurately process and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly picked, packed, and labeled.

· Quality Assurance: inspect and verify the quality and condition of products before packaging, ensuring that they meet our rigorous standards.

· Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues promptly.

· Packaging: Safely and efficiently package products, utilizing appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.

· Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms, ensuring compliance with international regulations when applicable.

· Communication: Collaborate closely with team members to provide accurate information regarding order status, shipping schedules, and any potential delays.

· Maintaining a Clean Workspace: Keep the shipping area clean and organized to facilitate a smooth workflow and maintain a safe working environment.

· Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve shipping-related issues to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or a related field is a plus.

· Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Knowledge of shipping software and systems is preferred (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).

· Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 pounds regularly.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.
