MUST be able to work every weekend plus one to two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure safety and appearance
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests and staff
• Follow established protocols for janitorial tasks, including waste disposal, window cleaning, and equipment maintenance
• Adhere to health and safety standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and using equipment safely
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or repair, ensuring consistent quality across all spaces
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Knowledge of floor care methods such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is a strong asset
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all tasks are completed thoroughly and promptly
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising teams is a plus but not mandatory
