Production Supervisor

Sage V Foods, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a leading provider of innovative rice, grain, and plant-based products. We are dedicated to quality, sustainability, and the success of our employees. We're seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee employees and activities in our rice manufacturing facility. This role is key to ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. 

• Oversee daily production line activities and ensure on-time start-ups.

• Supervise and support production employees throughout the shift.

• Maintain and enforce productivity, reliability, and accuracy standards.

• Monitor production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.

• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet and maintain product standards.

• Identify and resolve equipment or production issues quickly and effectively.

• Train, coach, motivate, reward, and discipline employees as needed.

• Assist the Production Manager with staffing, scheduling, timecards, and overtime management.

• Prepare reports, documentation, and other administrative tasks.

• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and company policies.

• Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve production-related challenges.

• Stay knowledgeable on all operating systems in the work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a modern food manufacturing facility.

• Strong knowledge of production practices and procedures.

• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate employees.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
