Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Available the following Days & Shift(s). Applicant must be reliable and self sufficient. Weekend availability is required. Offering Full-time & Part-time positions. Position includes 40 hours per week. Weekends will rotate based on availability.

Monday: 5 AM - 1 PM

Tuesday: 5 AM - 1 PM

Wednesday: 5 AM - 1 PM

Thursday: 5 AM - 1 PM

Friday: 5 AM - 1 PM

Saturday: 6 AM - 2 PM

Sunday: 7 AM - 2 PM

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide recommendations.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Address customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Proficient in cash handling and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to effectively engage in upselling while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
