Über

CyberSphere Solutions is seeking a reliable and technically strong Level 2 IT Support Technician to work full-time at a dedicated client site. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who is comfortable serving as the primary on-site IT presence while collaborating with our remote engineering and escalation teams.

The technician will be responsible for day-to-day IT support, proactive issue resolution, and maintaining a stable, secure technology environment for end users.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User Support

  • Provide on-site Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS issues (hardware and software)
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Resolve user issues related to email, login, permissions, and connectivity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site IT requests

Systems & Network Support

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired and wireless)
  • Assist with switch, firewall, and access point troubleshooting in coordination with senior engineers
  • Perform basic network diagnostics (VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS)
  • Support printers, scanners, and VoIP devices

Device & Asset Management

  • Image, deploy, and configure new workstations
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding
  • Track and maintain IT inventory and documentation
  • Ensure devices are compliant with security and patching standards

Security & Best Practices

  • Follow cybersecurity best practices and policies
  • Assist with endpoint protection, MFA enforcement, and security awareness
  • Escalate security incidents promptly to CyberSphere's security team

Communication & Documentation

  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly
  • Communicate effectively with both end users and internal teams
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments and basic networking
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently at a client site
  • Professional, dependable, and well-organized

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
  • Experience with RMM or ticketing systems
  • Exposure to firewalls, managed switches, and wireless infrastructure
  • Prior experience in an on-site or embedded IT role
