The Software Engineering Internship gives students hands-on exposure to building the systems, integrations, and tools that enable a private investment platform to scale—offering real technical and operational experience from day one.

About the Internship

The Software Engineer Internship is a technical, high-ownership role supporting the development of
Midstone OS
, our proprietary operating platform.

You will help build internal tools, data integrations, dashboards, workflow automation systems, and backend infrastructure that our operating companies will rely on.

You'll work closely with the Founder and Product/Project Management team to translate real-world business problems into clean, scalable technical solutions.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to build production tools, move fast, and see immediate impact from their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build internal tools and dashboards used across multiple acquired companies

• Develop APIs and integrations with third-party systems (ticketing, CRM, operations platforms)

• Support backend development for data pipelines and workflow automations

• Collaborate with Project Management to translate business processes into software

• Maintain documentation and contribute to technical architecture decisions

• Improve reliability, data flow, and UI/UX across Midstone OS components

• Work with leadership to define engineering priorities and system enhancements

Desired Qualifications

• Comfort working independently in a fast-moving environment

• Prior project experience in software engineering, CS coursework, or personal projects is a plus
