Responsibilities:
- Generate shipping labels and prepare shipping documentation for all outbound orders.
- Verify order details against shipment information for accuracy.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Ensure all packages are properly sealed, labeled, and prepared for transit.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and digital records.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and carriers.
- Operate relevant shipping equipment and systems.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties related to logistics as assigned.
- Support a culture of efficiency and accuracy in the shipping process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics support role.
- Knowledge of shipping software and carrier portals.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
