Express Lube Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Express Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, a strong background in automotive repair, and a passion for vehicle maintenance. This role involves performing quick and efficient oil changes, tire services, alignments, and other essential vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
• Conduct tire services including rotations, replacements, and balancing.
• Assist with wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling.
• Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools.
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally.
• Assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed, including brake inspections, fluid checks, and light repairs.
• Uphold safety standards by following proper procedures for heavy lifting and handling automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background preferred.
• Proven mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to oil changes, tire service, alignment, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Prior experience as a service technician or in an automotive service role is highly desirable.
• Basic sales skills to recommend additional services when appropriate.
