Substitute Teacher

Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and responsible Substitute Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher. Substitute Teachers are expected to maintain a productive learning environment, follow lesson plans, and ensure students remain engaged in their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction by following the lesson plans and materials provided by the classroom teacher.

• Manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies to ensure a safe and respectful environment.

• Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, and recess as assigned.

• Take attendance, document classroom activities, and submit any required reports.

• Communicate with administrators regarding student concerns, incidents, or progress.

• Maintain professionalism and serve as a positive role model for students.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Ability to work with students across grade levels (elementary, middle, or high school).

• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to quickly integrate into different classroom environments.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school policies.

• Bachelor's degree required (Education or related field preferred).

• Prior teaching or classroom experience strongly preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• Ability to implement lesson plans and adapt to different classroom settings.
