Project Executive – Healthcare Construction

We are partnering with a
leading employee-owned general contractor
to hire a
Project Executive
to oversee complex healthcare construction projects in the Seattle market. This role provides senior-level leadership across multiple projects and teams, with responsibility for project strategy, client relationships, financial performance, and operational excellence.

This opportunity is ideal for a healthcare-focused construction leader who enjoys ownership, mentorship, and delivering high-quality projects in highly regulated environments.

The Opportunity

The Project Executive will provide oversight from early preconstruction through project closeout, guiding multiple project teams while serving as a key point of contact for clients and design partners. You'll play a critical role in driving project success, developing talent, and supporting continued growth within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight for multiple healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to ensure accurate pricing, strong subcontractor strategies, and profitable project setup.
  • Define and communicate project strategy across teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, cost controls, cash flow, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to safety, schedule, cost, and ongoing client operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, regulatory, and company policies, including healthcare-specific requirements.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract execution in accordance with company protocols.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and project staff; assist with recruiting and team building.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to pursuit strategies.
  • Represent the company in meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience
    overseeing construction projects of increasing complexity, with significant healthcare experience.
  • OSHPD / HCAI experience required.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple project teams and manage large, technically complex projects.
  • Strong background in cost control, scheduling, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
