Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance the shopping experience
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person with clear communication skills
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory checks using retail math skills
• Support supervising staff during busy periods, helping to manage store operations smoothly

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide friendly, professional service in a bilingual setting is a plus
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions, stock counts, and retail math calculations
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
• Flexibility to work varied shifts in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
