Dishwasher/Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food service, possess strong attention to cleanliness, and have a positive attitude. Previous restaurant, catering, or hotel experience is a plus but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Duties

• Clear and clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
• Assist with bussing tables by removing used dishes and resetting tables for new guests
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen assistance and ingredient setup
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Assist with food handling and presentation to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Support catering events or banquets by setting up tables, serving guests, or clearing after events
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and maintain high standards of hygiene
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of food handling safety procedures
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or special events if required
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not essential; willingness to learn is key

Pay: $ $14.50 per hour
