Part-Time General Laborer

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency

EXPERIENCE: On the job training provided

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Good vision, hearing and hand-eye coordination are required. Reading, writing, dexterity and some math aptitude are needed. Must be team-oriented, a problem-solver and preferably speak English. Must be physically capable of doing repetitive medium to heavy lifting, carrying and moving. Ability to multi-task is necessary. Will only work up to 25 hours per week. Schedule will be based on the business need and be somewhat flexible.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Able to read and follow work instructions
• Be responsible for the cleaning of the equipment
• Must always wear Personal Protective equipment

• Follow all safety rules set forth by the management

• Various tasks in the foundry

• Various tasks in processing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. at waist level and up to 50 lbs. at shoulder level on a frequent basis when moving products
• Push or pull with up to 80 lbs. of force on an occasional basis when moving products
• Generate up to 80 lbs. of grip strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products
• Generate up to 15 lbs. of pinch strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products
• Display average coordination with both hands on a continuous basis while performing job tasks
• Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products
• Stoop, kneel or squat on an occasional basis when handling products
• Reach forward and to the side on a frequent basis when handling products
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis during the course of each shift
• Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day
