We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. Duties

  • Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Develop creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to dietary needs and guest preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team.
  • Oversee inventory control, food ordering, and cost management to optimize food production and minimize waste.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures across all kitchen activities.
  • Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to deliver high-quality event services aligned with client expectations.
  • Manage shift operations effectively, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives to enhance overall restaurant performance.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Skills

  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments.
  • Proven supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings.
  • Expertise in banquet service, catering, and large-scale food production operations.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and food safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and kitchen management best practices.
  • Experience in restaurant management including shift coordination, food service management, and hospitality standards.
  • Familiarity with dietary department procedures and accommodating special dietary requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and other departments.
