About this role Responsible for performing various duties within the Shipping and Receiving department including moving furniture and assisting with setups for various campus events throughout the campus. Receives, documents, and delivers packages to departments; and receives purchase orders in the database system. Conducts inventory of delivered items or supplies; delivers when inventory has been completed.What a day of a Warehouse Receiving Coordinator looks like :
Logs documents received and completed. Processes supplies, materials and equipment delivered to the department; receives incoming stock and verifies it is the same as the purchase order.
Loads mail and other packages for transport. Transports materials and equipment to, from and within storage areas and operating areas. Delivers and receives mail, packages, materials, and equipment.
Moves, or assists with moving furniture and equipment as required, and provides setups for various campus events throughout the campus.
Makes photocopies and scans documents. Sets up and organizes files and manuals and distributes as needed.
Maintains related equipment and vehicles used within the scope of the job as needed.
Follows established safety practices. Maintains and performs in a safe workplace.
Actively participates in the inventory control activities of the department.
Maintains and controls records to includes database, logs, cost records, and general records. Does not include bookkeeping.
Performs general clean up according to the needs of the department. Hauls debris to onsite refuse collection location. Keeps department and campus facilities in clean, litter-free and in an orderly condition.
Plans, directs, and controls the work of people who do not report directly to you, but who provide support to the goals and objectives of your organization.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED with additional training related to the position
One year of related experience
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in:
Delivering a high level of customer service
Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service
Operate a Forklift
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Regular physical attendance required
Valid Florida driver's license
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
Reach and grasp objects
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Stand for extended periods of time
Use of video display terminal
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skill
Communicate information orally and in writing
Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
Proofread and check documents for accuracy
Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level and other conditions
Operate a motor vehicle
Work a fluctuating work schedule

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $16.51 per hour; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate's education and experience.
