The Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) are looking for a commercially minded and intellectually curious Conference Content/ Program lead to work on their defense and government focused events portfolio. This is a demanding role with serious scope for the right candidate to develop as a project leader, working towards a high degree of autonomy, to deliver world-class events and content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct phone and web-based research to identify market pressure points and investment priorities, defining the commercial angle for your event and product portfolio
  • Recruit senior military leaders to provide keynote briefings, to join panels and to participate in interactive roundtable
  • Build a gripping narrative around all of your events and take responsibility for driving that message, internally and externally
  • Deliver cross-functional briefings and project manage your events across their lifecycle
  • Deliver in-person conferences on-site. Travel domestically and internationally to represent IDGA and support an outstanding customer experience and customer retention
  • Develop exciting and engaging content in innovative formats
