Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from
  pre-construction through close-out
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and quality control
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams
• Manage bidding, contract negotiation, and subcontractor selection
• Monitor cost controls, change orders, and project profitability
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
• Provide consistent project updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
  as a Construction Project Manager
• Retail and/or Commercial construction experience required
• Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Proficiency with project management and construction software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ground-up retail, fuel, convenience store, or commercial development experience
• Experience working with repeat national or regional clients
• Background with fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environments
