Direct Support Professional

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR CAREGIVER/DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) in Pensacola, FL to provide assistance in the home of a developmentally disabled individual. Pay $16.00/ hour.

*CAREGIVER/DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) must be dependable and trustworthy and willing and able to provide assistance with activities of daily living such as but not limited to: meal prep/cooking, medication administration/assistance, housework, laundry, personal care/hygiene, community involvement and conversation. CAREGIVER/DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) services are provided in accordance with the individual's support plan and that client's goals.

We have served the IDD population for over 28 years.

CAREGIVER/DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) requirements:

1- pass a level 2 background and local screening

2- valid driver's license

3- complete all company-facilitated training required by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities

4- 1 year's minimum experience working directly with individuals in a nursing, childcare, psychiatric or medical setting

5- reliable transportation and means of communication that has location and internet capabilities

Due to the nature of the job, willingness to work some weekends and holidays is a must.

Job Types: 1099, paid bi-weekly, $16.00/hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
