Forklift Operator

About the Role:

As a Forklift Operator at National Fulfillment Services you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be on operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products accurately and promptly. This position supports the overall supply chain by maintaining organized inventory and facilitating order fulfillment processes. You will collaborate closely with warehouse team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the seamless delivery of information and media services products to our customers nationwide.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret RF scanner instructions and warehouse documentation.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating clamp trucks and stand-up forklifts.
• Familiarity with general warehouse operations in the information and media services industry.
• Previous experience with order picking and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts including stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, and electric pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking using RF scanners to accurately select and prepare products for shipment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods to prevent damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas to promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
